About Montara

Montara Packaging Corporation designs and builds custom returnable and one-way packaging for B2B supply chains across North America. Operating from Ooltewah, Tennessee since 2014, we serve automotive, appliance, and industrial programs with packaging engineered around the part.

The company was founded in Germany in 1990 and brings that engineering heritage to its North American operation.

What Sets Us Apart

We design and build in-house, from first concept to full production, using plastic, foam, and textile materials. Our team handles 3D design in CATIA and 2D design in ArtiosCAD, covering new product development and reverse engineering of existing packaging. With high-efficiency converting, prototyping, and both small and large-volume manufacturing under one roof, we control quality from the drawing board to the loading dock.

Montara is an ISO 9001 certified operation and the patent holder behind the tara box keder. Everything we build is focused on protecting parts and reducing friction in your supply chain.
